Shalin Hai-Jew works as an instructional designer at Kansas State University and teaches for WashingtonOnline. She has BAs in English and psychology, an MA in English and an EdD in Educational Leadership with a focus on Public Administration. In the People s Republic of China, she taught at Jiangxi Normal University and Northeast Agriculture University, the latter two years with the United Nations Development Programme United Nations Volunteers Programme. She was a tenured faculty member in English/Communications, at Shoreline Community College. She writes as Eruditio Loginquitas in the blog she founded named Instructional Design Open Studio. She is currently a reviewer for Educause Quarterly and MERLOT s Journal of Online Learning and Teaching, both by invitation. She was born in Huntsville, Alabama.
