Informational Guide for Immigrants/Refugees is a combination of a year of research on some of the most important laws/rules of the land, understanding of the new community and culture, and ideas on how to successfully start a business and ways to be financed. It touches on "taboo" subjects (particularly in the African community) such as domestic violence, child neglect and women's rights to name a few. It is a great read, full of useful information even for someone who is not an immigrant/refugee, written by an experienced immigrant who has worked with Refugees and Immigrants for more than 9 years.

Mr. Gloria Ngezaho was born in Bujumbura, Burundi in the Great Lakes region of central Africa. From the time he started elementary school, to when he graduated in 2002 from Munali Secondary (High) school in the Republic of Zambia, Mr. Ngezaho had learned seven languages (Kirundi, Swahili, English, Nyanja, Lingala, Kiswahili and French) and traveled to more than a dozen countries. Forced to leave his country, because of the 1990's wars in the Great Lakes (Burundi, Rwanda and Congo DR) region, he emigrated to the United States of America where he has lived ever since. A proud husband (married to Sandrine Karangwa) and a happy father of two boys (Prince Daniel and Baby Jordan), community and peace activist, Mr. Ngezaho attended Portland State University where he graduated with a Bachelor degree in international studies (European focus, liberal studies, political science and philosophy), as well as a Masters degree in international and intercultural conflict resolution. Winner of several awards including the prestigious Portland State University's president's award for outstanding community service, Mr. Ngezaho is the founder and CEO of the African Messenger newspaper, as well as the A-Messenger magazine, both of which serve the African community in the Northwest USA and beyond. He is currently working on his fourth book (I promised: agape's power and triumph) as well as working to get his PhD.
