MY LIFE: When I was a little boy, I didn’t grow up with many toys, For life back then was sometimes tough, And growing up with six sisters and brothers was rough. There was always competition each day, Whether in the games that we did play, Or the many chores we did for Mom and Dad, The parents fed and clothed and kept us glad. Having many sisters helped to shape my life, In hopes someday I may find a wife, The brothers were nice to play sports with each day, And it taught us that the rules are how you play. Would I wish for my life to be different today? I think not, ’cause that would be sad to me someway, For all the things I learned as a kid, Taught me to be a person who can joke and kid. As for everything we did when young, The best thing was knowing we were young, We shaped our lives around the family, Until we grew up and had our own family. So now that I am much older, The years have made me much wiser, Even though I may be looking for love, I don’t know who will be that love.
