About the Author:
Award-Winning Author, Anne Schraff, published her first book when she was just a teenager. Discovering her love for writing at such a young age, Anne used her personal experiences, living amidst segregation in the 1950s, as inspiration. She received her BA and MA from Cal State University at Northridge. She was a high school teacher in San Diego before deciding to write full time. Living through times of racial strife left an indelible impression on her, which continues to inspire her to this day.
