Matthew H. Solomson is Chief Legal Officer, Federal Government Solutions, Anthem, Inc., a Fortune 50 company, where he has responsibility for all legal, compliance, and contract staff in the company s federal contracting business unit. He previously led the government contracts group within the law department of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. Prior to entering in-house practice, he served as counsel in the government contracts and litigation practices of Sidley Austin LLP, and before that as a Trial Attorney with the Commercial Litigation Branch of the U.S. Department of Justice, and as a government contracts attorney with Arnold & Porter LLP. Mr. Solomson served as a law clerk for the Honorable Francis M. Allegra, U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Mr. Solomson teaches Government Contracts Law as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland School of Law, and received his JD and MBA from the University of Maryland.
