Humbart Santillo has given us a classic! My family and I have used this book for years as our prime reference source for the use of medicinal herbs. We have found this book to be comprehensive and easy to use. I highly recommend this work to anyone interested in traditional herbal medicine!

If you only get one herbal book, this is the one to get. I have owned, used and abused this book for about six years. It is very thorough and has a very wide range of herbs along with "recipes" for specific conditions.

I have seen many books on using herbs for health and medical reasons. This is by far one of the best. For the last ten years I have recomended this book both personally and profesionally. It is really not for the beginner, but if you are familiar with herbs, this is a book for your collection.

It's the best ever for teaching you to heal common ailments. It gives you three recipes for making the herb medicines. It defines what how when much of an herb to make tincture and slaves and rubs for different ailments. I have many other books to look for but TRULY this is my go to book.
