Annie Phenix is a professional dog trainer. In the early 1990's, she began working as a dog behavior consultant and trainer for a Texas non-profit dog rescue. Since then, she has fostered over 400 dogs and has written a dog training column for Dogster Magazine. She is the author of The Midnight Dog Walkers: Positive Training and Practical Advice for Living with Reactive and Aggressive Dogs, and Positive Training for Aggressive and Reactive Dogs: Proven Techniques to Help Your Dog Overcome Fear and Anxiety. Her articles have been published in well over 100 publications. Phenix holds certifications as a Certified Canine Behaviourist (INTODogs), Family Dog Mediator (FDM), CPDT-KA (Retired), Fear Free Certified Professional, Graduate of a Schutzhund Dog Academy, CGC Evaluator and others. She has also belonged to several dog and pet professional organizations.
