This book is based on a true event. The woodland animals found our family garden. In just one night they tasted, nibbled, ate, gnawed, chewed and trampled the entire garden. This story is my idea of the wonderful time they had destroying my garden that night.

This book was has had two publishers. Neither has the right to print it now. A third edition in full color is now available published by the author as Nancy Orlando Books.About the Author:
I was born in Galion, a wonderful small town in Northern Ohio, in 1934. I think I decided to be a writer when someone first put a pencil in my hand. I have notebooks filled with poems and essays I wrote in grade school and high school. I attended Ohio State until my marraige. I was still determined to be a writer but raising four children didn't leave much time for writing. I did manage to complete the course with the institute of Childrens Literature and attend a Self as Source writers seminar with Christine Baldwin to prepare for a writing career. My memoir, Everyone's Child, was published in 2009. At 75, I try to stay active and keep learning. I am currently taking piano lessons to learn to play the Big Band songs I love in a key I can sing them in. I have researched the two resident white squirrels who play in my backyard in Greenhills, Ohio, and torment my Shih Tzu pup. I am working on two young adult novels and the love of my life, stories for small children. It has been exciting working with Debbi Kern, watching my story come to life through her wonderful illustrations. Life is a joy and I look forward to every tomorrow. I'm also a bride. I was married last November to a home town boy. We had both lost our spouse to cancer and met again at our high school reunion. We stay busy trying to see and do as much as possible.
