Synopsis
Oliver Wizard overcomes his nighttime fears as his father gently helps him get ready for bed.
Oliver uses imaginary magic in every step of his bedtime ritual. Accompanied by his father, Oliver conjures a bedtime snack, brushes his teeth, reads a book, and waves his wand to keep scary things away. The lighthearted, loving relationship between Oliver and his father is the star of this imaginative story that will help soothe restless toddlers to bed. Rebecca Kai Dotlich's lyrical text and Josée Masse's charming illustrations will help every child find the magic of sleep.

About the Author
Rebecca Kai Dotlich is the author of many children's poetry and picture books, including One Day, The End.; The Knowing Book; Lemonade Sun and, most recently, What If...? Then We.... Her books have won various honors, including the Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor Award and the Golden Kite Honor Award. She lives near Indianapolis and gives presentations and workshops across the country.
Josée Masse is the illustrator of the critically acclaimed books of reverso poems by Marilyn Singer (Mirror Mirror, Follow Follow, and Echo Echo) and of Thunder Underground by Jane Yolen, among other titles. She lives in Montreal, Canada. Visit her at joseemasse.com.
