About the Author
Georgina Lázaro León is a Puerto Rican poet whose work is focused on children. Among other awards, she received the Pura Belpré Honor in 2010, presented to a Latino writer and illustrator whose work best portrays, affirms, and celebrates the Latino cultural experience in an outstanding work of literature for children and youth.
