About the Author

Mariko Nakamura is a Japanese designer living in West London. She began designing at a young age, drawing pictures of dresses that her mother would sew for her. Mariko retained her passion for the craft of clothes-making through the years, and became a fashion student at Bunka Fashion College in Tokyo. She then went on to study 3D crafts at Brighton University in England.
