She has worked in a trauma emergency room, workers compensation case management, primary care and women's health. For a few years, she had her own business as a certified legal nurse consultant. For the past six years, she has been employed at the local VA Hospital in a leadership position. David is a retired U S Navy Chief Independent Duty Hospital Corpsman. He has been in healthcare for 36 years. Since retirement from the Navy, he has held positions at a local hospital in the Radiology and Cat Scan Department, taught at a local college and currently is the Chief Technologist at the same VA Hospital that Lisa is employed at. They currently live in Virginia with four furry babies. They enjoy volunteering at their church where David is an Elder. They also enjoy spending time with family and taking their camper out on adventures.
