Synopsis
The journey of learning to recognize God's voice and discern His guidance is a gradual process. Learning to identify His leadings and guidance became a series of steps for me. Hearing specific instructions, and finding answers, is not something learned overnight. It's akin to how children learn to speak and comprehend language over time. It's a lifetime of learning. A process. A journey of thousands of little steps. The book identifies several personal experiences where God spoke, I recognized His voice and when I obeyed, the consequences were life changing. In each circumstance His direction proved to be perfect not only for the immediate but for years to come. When the scripture says that God's ways are perfect, we need to ask ourselves, why do I want my own way?

About the Author
My husband, Harley Allen, and I have been married 63 years. We have 3 adult children, 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. My husband and I are pastors, and together we have served in various ministries for 44 years. My journey of faith started young. I was raised in a Christian home and learned the importance of walking in obedience to God's Word. This practice brought me into an intimate relationship with God. My mother provided an example for me to pursue this wonderful pathway for my life.
