About the Author

Matt Fioretti is an American Alpinist, entrepreneur, and writer. He was born in Seattle and now lives off grid on 180 acres in the North Cascades of Washington. He is the owner of "Four Winds Expeditions" and has led 24 successful expeditions and has 47 seasons at altitude in the Himalaya.
