About the Authors
Joseph Summers studied English Literature in college and always had a dream of writing a children's book, but he shelved the idea over the years in favor of more "practical" goals. Then one evening he met a captivating artist named Maggie, who planted the seed of an idea about a bee. The rest is history.Joe enjoys traveling and spending time in nature with his son, who teaches him new things every day. He is a certified mindfulness meditation teacher and finds purpose in teaching and advocating meditation for self-discovery, mental health and overall well-being.
Maggie Kincade's life has been centered around art since she was a child. Her love for painting and creating beautiful and unique patterns led her to art school and a career as a textile designer. This is Maggie's first foray into the world of children's illustrations, but surely not her last.
