His newly found satguru, orders him to have his "Naadi Palm Reading" done in the near by city of Pune, India. Against his own wishes, he goes and discovers a link to the past and his future. He learns about his destiny and what he is supposed to do with the remaining days of his life. He is even told when he is going to die.This is only the beginning of a series of internal and external changes that take place, as he continues his journey. He is stuck down by a major heart attack in Mumbai and has to return back to California. He undergoes open heart surgery and finds himself transported to India after his heart is stopped on purpose, while he is put on a heart and lung machine. He meets ancient holy men and is given a vision of his future and his purpose. The book is a series of short stories of his real life experiences, some involving time spent with his satguru. These all unfold as his "heart" is physically, spiritually and emotionally changed. This is truly a story of spiritual evolution. The opening up of the heart to love and the power of forgiveness. About the Author

Rev. Bill’s life has been on a spiritual journey, spanning over 7 decades. His whole life has been a mystical trip in search of gurus, the paranormal, and self-discovery. He has written about his many spiritually transformative experiences and “near-death-experiences” including supernatural events during his combat tour of duty in the Vietnam War. In his books, he has shared some incredible spiritual events that are beyond both common understanding or explanation. He is not just an author and an award-winning poet, but also an international motivational speaker, artist, film advisor, veteran advocate, a yoga meditation teacher, and a Vietnam War veteran. He has spoken around the world including Germany, England, Wales, Bolivia and India. Rev. Bill has been on over 600 radio and TV shows over the last 20 years and has stories about his life featured in over two dozen books by other authors and hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles. He has had articles published in such diverse publications as “Parade Sunday Magazine” and “The Self-Realization Fellowship Magazine” as well as military magazines and new age publications. Rev. Bill McDonald was born In San Francisco and raised in California, Oregon and Hawaii. His childhood was an emotionally painful one. In his childhood, he had many encounters with divine beings, ghosts, angels and aliens. Kennedy days before it occurred even saying it would take place in Texas. He went into the US Army. He served in the Vietnam War as a crew-chief/door-gunner on a Huey helicopter. He was wounded and survived several helicopter crashes. In the process, he was awarded several medals and ribbons including The Distinguished Flying Cross, The Bronze Star, The Purple Heart, 14 Air Medals, The Vietnamese Gallantry Cross and many more.
