I began writing this book a few years ago after watching, not only our students, but hundreds of golfers around my state continue to underperform with their skill set. This led them to feelings of frustration, disappointment, even anger and despair. It led to disillusionment about their own abilities, while further ingraining the behaviors that put them there in the first place! There are exceptions, some golfers develop the necessary techniques on their own or they’re “naturals” at strategy, yet they too are missing some key pieces of information. My passion for helping others led to writing this book and developing the exercises within to guide my students through these concepts. You will read stories of successes from players young and old who have shown great improvement just by applying these principles. I firmly believe that everyone who reads this book can play better golf and enjoy the game at a much deeper level than they ever have. The Champions Takeaway:1. What did you shoot?2. You play golf with your average shot.3. The outcome of your shots are determined by chance.4. Where the ball ends up is the only thing that matters in determining your final score.
