Christin Bummer was diagnosed with hypertension and early insulin resistance at age 32, despite being active and otherwise healthy. It was a massive wake-up call to realize she was walking right down a well-worn path to a family medical history full of heart disease and diabetes. She adopted a whole food plant-based lifestyle, reclaimed her health, lost excess weight, and felt on top of the world! And a few years later she got pregnant and had some difficulties sticking with the plan. A series of stressful life events pulled her back into old damaging habits, and she found herself really lost, knowing that she wanted to get back on track yet feeling completely unable to do it. Her journey of self-discovery led her to repeatable success, and she's dedicated her life to helping other women overcome similar battles with self-sabotage, insecurities, procrastination, and so much more. Christin is a graduate of Cornell University and created The Forever Diet online coaching programs now reaching across the globe. She also supports her Pittsburgh community with volunteer endeavors. She is a devoted wife, mom, and dog-mom, and when she's not writing or coaching you'll find her racing up and down the monkey bars with her daughter, hiking in the woods, or daydreaming about their next vacation.
