About the Authors

Nicole Miller was born and raised on the coast of Northeast Florida. She received her bachelor of science in microbiology in 2016 and her master of science in ecology in 2019, each from the University of Florida. Her passions lie in science and exploration of the natural world. In her free time, she tackles a few more projects than she can handle, travels, and surfs the scrambled waves of the North Atlantic.

Susie Duggan is a multimedia artist and avid surfer living on the east coast of Florida. Her whimsical art is full of color and inspired by her travels, wildlife, and the positive people she encounters.
