Synopsis
Kip is a bear cub that lives in the Highlands of Scotland but he's no ordinary bear cub. He is a kickboxing bear cub, training in martial arts for several years.
Through a range of characteristics, based on values taught to him through his martial arts training; Courtesy, Integrity, Self Control, Perseverance, Indomitable Spirit, Kip uses lessons that he's learned to help his friends and other bears be the best version of themselves.
The 'Kip the Bear Cub' children's picture book series offers a fun and exciting array of adventures that takes readers on a journey across continents from the Highlands of Scotland to the Polar Ice Caps of the Arctic, addressing topics that are an important part of children's learning and development such as inclusivity, sharing, resilience, sustainability and diversity.
The picture book series aims to be enjoyable, motivational, inspirational and educational - bringing to life a set of basic behaviours and characteristics that can help to teach children (and adults) basic life values - as well as being transferable across the vast majority of martial arts whether it is Taekwondo, Karate, Judo, Kuk Sool Won, Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai.
