Julian Beaumont has been the chairman of the Macquarie Group Collection since its inception in 1987 and is a board member of the National Gallery of Australia Foundation and Artspace Visual Arts Center. Felicity Fenner is the independent advisor to the Macquarie Group Collection, the curator of contemporary art exhibitions, the chief curator at the National Institute of Experimental Arts, and the deputy director of the Center for Contemporary Art and Politics at the University of New South Wales. John McDonald is one of Australia’s best-known art critics. He writes for several publications, including the Australian Financial Review and the Sydney Morning Herald. He is a former curator, a lecturer, and the author of Art of Australia (Volume 1), Jeffrey Smart: Paintings of the ’70s and ’80s, and Studio: Australian Artists on the Nature of Creativity.
