About the Author:

Steven Heller is the co-chair of the MFA Designer as Author + Entrepreneur program and co-founder of the MFA Design Criticism program, both at the School of Visual Arts, New York. For 33 years he was an art director at the New York Times. He is the author of more than 150 books on design and popular culture, including 100 Ideas That Changed Graphic Design and Art Direction Explained at Last (Laurence King)

Jason Godfrey, director of Godfrey Design, London, studied at the Royal College of Art before pursuing a career in print and digital media in London, New York and Austin, Texas. His work has been shown in the annuals of D&AD and the New York Type Directors Club. He is the author of Bibliographic: 100 Classic Graphic Design Books.
