I love writing this book as I had visited many stately houses while living in the UK, and when I went inside I was in wonderment on how these people lived and wondered what it was like, and when I went to Australia and learned about convicts that arrived from the UK I put the thoughts into a book and here it isAbout the Author:
Terence J Goodchild was born in Manchester in the North of England, in a place named Higher Blackley, where he worked in the motor trade and ran his own business. After he and his wife went to Australia for a holiday they decided to immigrate to Melbourne, where he worked for Mercedes Benz, Kenworth trucks, and then Iveco trucks where he worked for ten years, until he and his wife Sandra bought a farm in the pretty Tamar Valley Tasmania. This is where they now live, with their four horses and a dog called Jasper.
