After calling off her wedding, Coral Sinclair, a beautiful but na´ve young photographer, learns that she has also lost her father. Leaving the life she's known in England, she sails to Kenya to take ownership of her inheritance - Mpingo, the plantation that was her childhood home. On the voyage, Coral meets a charismatic stranger and their mystifying attraction shakes her to the core. When she encounters him again days later near Mpingo, she is warned that the man is not to be trusted. Rafe de Monfort, owner of a nightclub and the neighbouring plantation, is not only a notorious womanizer but also entangled with Coral's stepmother, which may have contributed to her father's death - or so the rumours go.

About the Author:

Hannah spent her early childhood in Egypt, the daughter of Philae Zaki Wissa and Hanna Fahmy Wissa, author of Assiout, an Egyptian Family Saga. Her grandmother Ester Fanous was a revolutionary feminist and poet during the 1900s. Hannah was schooled at Notre Dame de Sion School for girls followed by four years at Alexandria University, Egypt from which she graduated with a BA degree in French Literature. She has travelled extensively throughout Europe and lived in Switzerland, France and England. After marrying her English husband, she settled in Kent and subsequently had little time for writing while bringing up two children, and running her own business renovating rundown cottages. Hannah now divides her time between her homes in Kent, Ireland and the South of France. She has written five other novels: Aphrodite's Tears and The Echoes of Love and Indiscretion, Masquerade and Legacy in the Andalucian Nights Trilogy.

Review:

Praise for The Echoes of Love: `An epic love story that is beautifully told...one of the most romantic works of fiction ever written.' Natasha Harding, The Sun;
