Review

"One glance at this oversized book's striking cover--a giant green eye accented with an arch of white fur feathering into browns and blacks--tells the reader that something extraordinary awaits inside . . . these magnificent pictures take us closer to the other members of the animal kingdom than we could ever come with the naked eye . . . and though the text does offer many fascinating facts and surprising insights, without even reading a word one can turn the pages and watch the story of the growing complexity and interconnectedness of life-forms unfold."  —Quercus
