Her intention with Of Butterflies and Bullies is to both bring increased awareness to the passive qualities of girl bullying and to inspire young girls who may be victims to know they are not alone and transformation is always possible.

About the Author

Jenny Dalton was born in 1970 and grew up in Indianapolis, IN. Sheearned a B.A. in English Literature and History from IndianaUniversity-Bloomington and since graduation, she has earnedpost-graduate certificates in several fields of interest. She is curious and often transforms her life in various ways. Jenny has always lovedwriting and published articles and poetry in numerous venues. OfButterflies and Bullies is her first novel, which took her 10 years tofinish. Then, it sat in a hard drive for a decade more. It's based onher real-life experience being bullied by other girls who she thoughtwere her closest friends and how she used journal writing to connect toher own power, deep inside, to feel better. Today, she lives inMendocino County, CA with her beloved. She's an entrepreneur,facilitates groups and coaches individuals towards powerful change. Sheteaches and practices yoga; she mentors young women and helps supportthe education of girls in Haiti. She travels the world. And, she lovesher life, and promises you it gets better every year.
