Sailor Lincoln is an architect living on his 44 foot sloop Sirius due to his separation from his wife Penelope, whom he suspects is probably having an affair. His newest clients, Tom and Juliet (Jules) Manchester have a beau-tiful property in Eastham overlooking the Nauset Bay Marshes.
His working relationship with this couple soon turns into a close friendship. Disturbingly for Sailor, he finds himself unusually attracted to Jules who seems to feel the same way about him. They both struggle to fight off temptation as the design and construction of 'Nauset House' proceeds from embryo to finished construction.
Sailor's relationships with his wife Penelope, his client Jules and Jules's best friend Sophia lead to entanglements and complications with unforeseen and dire consequences
