About the Author

Rosalind Tate's fantasy books have slow-burn, fade to black romantic sub-plots, strong heroines, and wonderful canine sidekicks.

Rosalind lives in Gloucestershire, England, and holidays on the Cornish coast. She served in the British military, then worked as a journalist and a lawyer. She has grown up children, a tolerant husband and two utterly gorgeous dogs.

When she's not daydreaming, walking the dogs, or watching her favourite sci-fi and fantasy shows, she's thinking up new stories and writing her next novel. She's always loved books and grew up reading the likes of Tolkien and Rosemary Sutcliff. Her current go-to authors are Deborah Harkness and Angela Boord.
