A manifesto of love, invitation and invocation to humanity
Refreshingly candid, hilarious and insightful, Dear Human is the key necessary to unlock a whole new way of thinking...it is progressive and expansive. It provides insight to the soul that many of us have either: A) never seen or B) overlooked in our travels on this earthly plane.
Dear Human asks the reader to embrace our glorious messiness, to love to the best of our ability, to continue to learn and grow, to be willing to show up and get out of the way. It blows up old programs and conditioned ways of thinking and expands the reader into new ways of thinking about timeless themes. It asks us to merge and honor our divinity and humanity equally.
These chapters resonate what it means to be whole, real, authentic and loved while simultaneously showing the pathway to the freedom of enlightened empowerment. Be open to all your feelings and look to laugh and love with each and every breath. The spectrum from compassion to ego/emotional triggers is unabashedly discussed and honored within these pages. Words such as judgment, cooperation, feelings, growth, ease, resilience and harmony all have a place here. This creation strives to have the population rethink their inner workings, conditioned responses and self-imposed limitations. Dear Human elevates the spirit to an accomplished, soul-filling and revered place—a place of light.

Courtney A. Walsh has been a professional writer/editor/author/inspirational speaker for fifteen years. With an extensive background in marketing, advertising, creative writing, film, cultural studies, and languages, Courtney has worked with the United States National Park Service to review, research and co-write a technical report on the origins of the Statue of Liberty. Other accomplishments include a project for MTV (Music Television) and publishing several feature op-ed articles as a contributing writer for The Portsmouth Herald. She has created a successful career as a blogger, social media figure and professional speaker.
"Courtney A. Walsh knows what's up! She also knows what's down, what's sideways, what's twisted and what's broken. In short, she knows what it is to be HUMAN. I am deeply impressed with her wisdom, and incredibly grateful for her story!" Elizabeth Gilbert, author of "Eat, Pray, Love"
" 'Dear Human' is destined to be a classic!" Arielle Ford, author of "The Soulmate Secret"
"Facebook superstar Walsh describes her quirky new book as 'a patchwork quilt, pieced together with more love than skill'. Asking questions like 'What if we rise in love instead of falling in fear?', she sums up life lessons with headings like The Victim Violin, Derailing the Shame Train, Sacred Partnership, Just Send Love, and Mama God. Walsh writes with a voice that sometimes seduces, sometimes screeches off the page. Her message to readers is clear. Open your eyes and get in the game. Let customers know that they will be chuckling as they change their lives. Anna Jedrziewski, Retailing Insight--Anna Jedrziewski, Retailing Insight
Courtney Walsh's brand of spiritual teaching is of the wrestle-you-down-to-the-yoga-mat-until-you-stare-your-beliefs-in-the-face-and-squirm variety. And she's funny, to boot. Her new book, Dear Human, builds upon the Facebook meme she started about unconditional love that has gone wildly viral. The book is part stream-of-consciousness memoir and part satsang with a very hip guru. This gal's spiritual and emotional baggage has a travel sticker from every conceivable state. She has so been there and done that, that her closet must be full of T-shirts of every conceivable hue. Happily, she was smart enough to milk the wisdom out of every situation, and witty enough to both tickle and captivate us with her original, delightfully outrageous, and cheerily profound take on turning life's lemons into the champagne of lemonade. Her writing style is unique, and you can practically hear her voice alternately cooing and haranguing you into getting over your hang-ups about perfection, and to start living your life with all the juice and joy you can muster. Warmly recommended.--Miriam Knight
