Gerard Stembridge was born in Limerick, studied English and History at University College, Dublin and has lived in Dublin since. He was writer-director for several films, including Guiltrip and About Adam. He co-wrote the hit RTE 1 radio show Scrap Saturday with Dermot Morgan (Father Ted), and has written eleven plays. This is his first novel.
