For nearly 30 years Miller’s Antiques Price Guide has been the benchmark for authority and accessibility, acknowledged as the most comprehensive illustrated guide to antiques from around the world. The tradition continues in the newest version, which features a pool of more than 20 named experts from the U.K., U.S.A., and elsewhere. That’s why no buyer or seller can afford to be without this valuable book with its 8,000 color items from antiquities to late 20th-century—over 60 subject categories in all. As well as traditional antiques such as furniture, pottery, porcelain, glass, and silver, there’s coverage of all the latest trends in the decorative arts, including special in-depth looks at Fabergé, Picasso Pottery, Black Forest Furniture, Chandeliers, Pin Cushions, and American Folk Art. And there are two new features you won’t want to miss: Expert’s Eye, which shows detailed views of antiques, and Essential Reference, where the professionals share the extensive knowledge, backed up with illustrations. Miller’s is positively packed with informative background on price trends, makers to look out for, and historical detail, all presented in a clear, accessible style.
