Nik, who graduated with a Master's Degree, had his own weekly guest slot on a live breakfast TV show ('Hello On Two (HOT)' on RTM TV2) discussing interior design. The nine episodes were specially made to make the most of the opportunity of a three month visit to Malaysia.
Known for creating easy-to-live with modern schemes through his lively, playful and sensual approach, Nik A Ramli believes that with a little careful planning, design classics and budget can be combined to dazzling effect. In all Nik's work there is a focus on statement styling. This styling makes use of colours, collectables, plants as well as an awareness of good lighting that defines a space and creates different moods. Nik can and will tailor a project to work with the largest and smallest of budgets.
He is a contributor to national and international magazines, newspapers, has been interviewed on a number of radio stations, featured on the popular daily TV programmes and promotional films on subjects related to interior design. In his career Nik has been interviewed alongside some of the UK's most popular BBC and Channel 4 TV presenters. In April 2012 he was asked to suggest furniture retailers in Kuala Lumpur to sponsor NTV7's 'Bella' TV show.
Nik's good commercial sense, product knowledge and savvy public relation abilities have enabled him to become a successful interior designer in his own right.
