HMS Glamorgan was in the thick of the fighting throughout the war. Her role for most of the time was that of an expendable escort and she became the only ship to survive an Exocet hit. About the Author:

Commander Ian Inskip, Royal Navy, joined HMS Glamorgan as Navigating Officer in 1980, leaving the ship after the war to become Staff Navigating Officer to the Flag Officer Sea Training. Promoted to Commander in 1983, he served as Fleet Plans Officer at Northwood. His final two appointments were with Naval Security. This is his first book.
