'The Student's Guide to Cognitive Neuroscience is a perfect introduction to the field. I use it in my own teaching and recommend it to colleagues from other disciplines who are curious about cognitive neuroscience. The result is a smart, approachable introduction to the concepts and methods of cognitive neuroscience.'

Its coverage of topics is hugely impressive – from basic methods in cognitive neuroscience through to details chapters covering topics such as emotion as well as standard cognitive topics such as language and memory. This reflects the exciting converging of research over the past few years.
