From the Author:
'Mans' inhumanity to Man makes countless thousands mourn.' Robbie Burns.
Working on this book was one of the most emotional experiences of my life. I felt possessed by the characters from the early stages and I believe it's the main reason Delia and her family are so believable and incredibly human, and why they touch the hearts of the readers, both male and female.
Time after time, I hear the same praise, 'I felt as though I'd known these people all my life', and I feel no shame in admitting I cried when I came to the end of The Strangling Angel. The characters and I had been through so much together and together we had triumphed. The realization was glorious.
It was a foregone conclusion there would have to be more. So, for all the loyal people who supported Book 1, the sequel is almost finished and should be out very soon.
I humbly thank you, and those countless victims who can no longer speak for themselves, they also thank you, for bringing into the light one of recent history's most tragic episodes, The Great Irish Famine.
At the time, the Great Hunger was referred to as a 'holocaust', and it surely qualifies as one of modern mans' worst travesties and a most blatant example of Mans' Inhumanity to Man.'
