Robin William Renwick, Baron Renwick of Clifton KCMG is a crossbench peer in the House of Lords. He enjoyed a long career at the Foreign Office culminating in a posting as British ambassador to the United States between 1991 and 1995.

Robin Renwick: Lord Renwick of Clifton, is a crossbench peer in the British House of Lords. During a long career in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office he became one of Margaret Thatcher’s most valued advisers on foreign policy. He was later Ambassador to the United States.
