Synopsis
How the Sun and Moon Came to Be is an exquisitely illustrated story based on traditional Vietnamese folktales, richly brought to life by artist Wiliam Luong.
When Jade Emperor drops two precious gems from heaven, he is devastated, and his sorrow cloaks the whole world in darkness. To get them back, his children must journey to Earth, traverse mountains and rivers, dive to the depths of the East Sea, and petition the Dragon Kings.
With such a long and dangerous quest ahead, will they be able to restore the gems and bring light back into the world?

About the Author
Luong Trong Hoang Trung, or Wiliam Luong, is a Vietnamese artist who works with color pencils and paint in his vibrant and painstakingly detailed illustrations. His work has recently been shown at the Ve Ve Hat Boi exhibition, as well as in various other campaigns. He lives in Saigon, Vietnam.
