“King’s writing is sharp, his comedy as black as Donald Rumsfeld’s heart . . .”—Maxim
Godfrey Bishop works for a soft-porn magazine. He talks to the models, he reads hundreds of filthy readers’ letters, he organizes the photo shoots and even gets to direct the action. He has, according to his nonporn friends, “the best job in the world.” Chuck into the mix a 12 girl orgy, a stable of alcoholic co-workers, an angry argumentative feminist, and a obsessive letter-writer and you have Danny King’s funniest novel yet.

Danny King was born in Slough, near London in 1969. After leaving school, he went to work on a building site where he met his fair share of petty criminals and general nutters. In the late 1980s, following convictions of various offences, including burglary, he gave up crime, got an education and started to work as a journalist on top shelf magazines. He lives in South London.Review:
?King spends his free time writing for a top-shelf grot mag and hanging out with some "tasty" geezers. He?s also written a couple of excellent books about the nonlegit lifestyle choice? Loaded One of the few writers to make me laugh out loud. Danny King's brilliant at making you love characters who essentially are quite bad people. -- David Baddiel ?Sweet-as-a-nut, hilariously un-PC... if ever there was an antidote to Bridget Jones?s Diary * this is it?
