Synopsis
Ruby Genie is an orphan. Everyone expects her to have the same fantastic magical powers as her famous parents did, but Ruby can't do any magic at all - or so she thinks. and feels a complete failure. About the Author
Sally Gardner was an award-winning costume designer for the theatre before realising her ambition of writing and illustrating children's books which she now does full-time. She lives in North London with her three children. Emilia Fox appeared in the BBC's PRIDE AND PRJUDICE whilst still at university, and has gone on to star in REBECCA, DAVID COPPERFIELD, Copperfield and RANDALL AND HOPKIRK (DECEASED). She also reads regularly on Radio 4 and has recently taken over from Amanda Burton in the TV series SILENT WITNESS.
