Author Richard Waters explores various theories about how King John's treasure may have been lost in the Wash, speculates on possible locations in the Wash where the treasure was most likely to have been lost and considers some conspiracy theories about who may have recovered the treasure or may even have stolen it prior to the story being told of its loss as a cover for the theft. A good read.
