Dr. Patterson and Jake George, worked on this book, collecting data, questions and answers for over seven years. They saw the same questions being asked by new and old Graves’ disease patients and their families. We realized that the medical profession did not fully understand the scope of questions left unanswered after diagnosis and treatment. We did not provide information on unproven treatments, which abound on the Internet and in print. The information provided is the current medically proven treatments for Graves’ disease. There are those who will say our book is not accurate, is out of date and biased to one treatment over another.
