Synopsis
Beautifully done full-color SP pictorial covering the 1945-mid to 1960s range so that both steam and first generation diesels are shown. The steam power ranges from Cab Forwards to Moguls to Daylights. The diesels include Alco PAs, EMD cab units, FM Train Masters and Baldwin roadswitchers, nearly all in their as-delivered color schemes. The photos were taken along the entire length of the railroad, including the narrow gauge branches (Monterey, Owenyo and Keeler). There are even a few vintage freight and passenger cars to round out the selection. 128 pages.
