Frustrated singer Joe Kasko has decided to ditch the heartless Hollywood music scene forever and move to Canada to do social work with the Inuit. But L.A. is a jealous mistress--and she's not about to let him get away so easily. His last day in town turns into a hilarious adventure as Tinseltown keeps pulling him back with every seduction it can muster. Will Joe finally succeed where all others before him have failed--and get out of L.A. for good?
This offbeat comedy-adventure-romance will strike a chord with anyone who has ever tried to make a big change in life, but wasn't quite ready to let go of the past.
"THE ROAD TO FLIN FLON? Never heard of it!" Well, of course you haven't. It wasn't released in theaters. It doesn't have Tom Cruise or Michelle Pfeiffer in it. The title's kind of hard to remember. (What's a Flin Flon, anyway?)
But we say: PLEASE BUY THE MOVIE. Why should you? Well, here are 15 reasons: 1. It's funny. 2. The story is clever and really pulls you in. 3. It's really funny. 4. It has the multi-talented Jamie Kennedy, the star of "Scream," "Romeo + Juliet," "Bowfinger" and a bunch of other movies it it... and it's his BEST ROLE. 5. It's cheap... 20 bucks. 6. It's really, really funny. 7. You'll get to heaven quicker by supporting small independent films. 8. It's really, really, really funny. 9. You'll never think of toads the same way again. (I'd tell you what that means, but you'll have to buy the tape to find out.) 10. Film festival audiences LOVED it. 11. You can brag to your friends that you saw a great movie, and THEY DIDN'T. 12. It's really, really, really, really funny. 13. It's got a lot of great L.A. locations, and the girls in it are really hot. (OK, the guys too.) 14. You might not otherwise find out what a "Flin Flon" is. 15. Did I mention it's really, really, really, really, REALLY FUNNY?
So read the reviews, think it over if you must, and then BUY THE FILM (please). Thank you for reading this whole thing.
