About the Author Bhakti-yog-rasavatar, Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj who is lovingly called Shree Maharajji by his devotees, Graced the village of Mangarh, (Pratapgarh, U.P., India) by taking his birth on Sharat Poornima night (October) of 1922. Born in a most respectable Hindu brahman family, he spent his childhood in his village, delighting the people with his loving naughty acts. In his 16th year, he went to Mahu (a town in Madhya Pradesh) where he started his studies in Sanskrit; and, to the wonder of his teachers, he finished the entire education within two years which was difficult for the other students to finish even in a score of years. After leaving that college, he remained a few years in the deep ecstatic states in the woods of Chitrakoot and Sharbhang etc., where he Graced the deserving devotees with Krishn love. In 1942 some devotees saw him in Vrindaban in the Bhavavesh state. They approached him and requested him to come to their town and, in this way, he came in contact with common people. People saw his Divine expressions and were drawn to him. His satsang of those days was a live form of Radha Krishn love and he mostly remained in his ecstatic state of Mahabhao. Only those who witnessed that satsang could imagine the charm of it, words cannot describe it. In 1955, he called a convention at a holy place, Chitrakoot, where he invited the leading religious personalities of India. As a result, the president of Kashi Vidvat Parishat of Varanasi requested him to come to their town and to give talks on Hindu scriptures. The fifth original Jagadguru in the last 5,000 years: He went to Varanasi in 1957, delivered seven speeches and made those scholars speechless. Later, the pandits of Varanasi honored him by accepting him as the supreme Jagadguru of this age. Prior to him, only four Divine personalities were given the title of Jagadguru within five thousand years. The supreme acharya of this age: He is called Sarv-darshan-samanvayacharya, Bhakti-yog-rasavatar, Anant-shree-vibhushit, Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj. He has revealed an enormous amount of devotional literature that includes the simplified philosophy of the Shat Sandarbh, Gita and the Bhagwatam, as well as thousands of leela songs and the chantings of the name, form and the virtues of Radha Krishn.
