THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MENTAL IMAGERY

The Encyclopedia of Mental Imagery contains over 2,100 original mental imagery exercises drawn from the work of the great 20th century spiritual master, Colette Aboulker-Muscat. It is a manual of spiritual teaching and a rich treasury of powerful healing images that can be used as a daily source of both inspiration and healing. It also serves as a resource for therapists and the many other professionals - acting teachers, life coaches, writing journal seminar leaders and others - who find that imagery is an important element in their widely varied fields of work.

To create imagery exercises Colette drew from the Bible, Taoism, Sufism, Einstein, Wilhelm Reich, and Richard Bach, to name just a few. Some of the themes for restoring ourselves to wholeness that readers can find in this book include:

► Reversing Destructive Conditioning
► Self-renewal
► Healing through Silence
► Achieving Mental and Emotional Clarity
► Seeking Truth the Eastern Way
► Living in the Moment
► Union with God

Colette referred to herself as a "teacher of life." She crafted these imagery exercises for the many visitors and students who came to her door in Jerusalem seeking physical healings, life direction, creative inspiration, spiritual union, or simply a way out of a current crisis. Many reported such results as transformations of consciousness, enhanced wellbeing, and an outpouring of creativity.

Imagery is the true and natural language of the mind. It forms a bridge between our everyday world and our inner subjective reality. In the practice of imagery, we close our eyes and turn our senses inward. There, free of outside influences, we discover the wisdom to change our lives.
