Verna Cox, a Maine native, has been Traditional Rug Braiding for 45 years, her work has been shown in articles in a variety of magazines, including, Woman's Day, Family Circle, Decorating Magazines, Rug Hooking and Downeast and has been featured in news stories and talk shows on commercial TV and PBS.
Verna has previously authored a book on braiding "Illustrated Braiding Guide" published in 1964 and has hosted her own videos, 5 of which have been available since 1994.
