Synopsis
Cloze is a method of developing comprehension by providing partial written passages with important information omitted. Two types of cloze activities are offered; those that involve filling in blanks from a given list of words, and others that provide for open-ended solutions. Each of the thirty-three activities includes a teacher information page which lists the activities objective, teaching points, evaluation, and solutions. The activities are in various formats including stories, poems, letters, and informational and fictional passages.
