"For centuries, the monks of Mt. Athos have lived the ascetic life. They strive, with each step of their journey in the life in Christ, to achieve the holiness that God calls each Christian to attain. Frequently, the monks offer their insights and experience of the spiritual life to visitors and other seekers.
In these essays, Monk Moses shares the wisdom of Mt. Athos that leads to saintliness. Each essay is like a visit with a trusted spiritual guide, experienced in the life in Christ. Monk Moses reveals that, despite his withdrawal from the world in monastic life, he understands the world and the struggles that each Christian confronts."
