She is a native of New Jersey and resides in San Diego, California.
Sheila Bailey's career started fifteen years ago with Hallmark Greeting Cards. Her illustrating talent evolved rapidly into a successful freelance career. She has illustrated over 22 children's books including The Wizard and King Whifflegroan and We're All Special, both from Portunus Publishing Company. Sheila lives with her husband in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
