Travis Tyre is an active writer and speaker on the Arts in Christian education and ministry. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dallas Baptist University in Theatre and English, and he holds certificates from the National Shakespeare Conservatory and New York University in acting. He served on the Acting faculty of the largest theatre school for youth in the Southwest, Creative Arts Theatre & School (CATS) in Arlington, Texas, before leaving to persue graduate studies. Mr. Tyre is a published, award-winning playwright whose works have been produced by professional theatres, universities, and churches throughout the United States, including Off-Broadway. He currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas with his wife, Elizabeth, a fourth grade teacher.
